Could you please do a what if for Shogun Steel Characters in the World Champions. I'm talking like maybe the Zyro Squad (Equivalent to Gan Gan Galaxy) in the World Championships? So like Zyro as the Leader, Shinobu and Kite as regulars, Eight as a Sub and Maru replacing Madoka and see how far they would get. Only thing that would be difficult to determine would be the power gap between Metal Masters Characters vs Shogun Steel Characters.

Why didn’t you include johannes for their team. They were basically a trio team for most of metal fury.

lesson learned. a team is only as strong as their weakest member. even if you have rago on the team, if the other 2 members are fodder its gg. unless he wants to pull a julian where rago fights all of them.

Aguma was powerful but not that powerful without the power of Star fragment so if the team is swapping in season 2 shouldn't that power reduction be accounted for. Beylin temple would win if Aguma has no star fragment than I don't see him beating a calm and composed dushaiyan😊

6:06 Correction: Demure is the regular, Benkei is the Sub. Beylin Fist could also refuse to accept the team battle. This would mean the third battle could force Demure to battle.

Can’t the Fist just have Aguma battle twice in a row if needed? As far as I know that’s not against the rules. GGG was prepared to do just that against Starbreaker before Ryuga intervened, and that did happen versus Wildfang. Gingka Kyoya and Masamune all battled twice.

I think it’s worth it to stack these theoretical teams up against Desert Blaze and Chandura

i physically cheered “YEAAAAAA GO BENKEI!” when you said he took out team Beylin Fist 😅. also, i saw another comment saying this already, but i was thinking the same thing so i’ll say it too. if Wildfang did go with their 2-0 sweep strategy and mindlessly sent out Nile while team Beylin Fist sent one of the bg characters, Nile would obvs win, but then Wildfang would be screwed bc Aguma would beat Kyoya and Bao would defeat Benkei or Demure. so depending on strategy either could win 🤷‍♀️. Nile vs Bao is definitely the more interesting fight though. side note,, we were absolutely ROBBED of a Dashan vs Aguma battle in Fury 😭💔. idc that Dashan would end up losing, seeing their similar yet different techniques and the two rivaling leaders battle with 2000+ years of history between them.. oh man that would have been so awesome!! also would have been a cool way for us to see Aguma awaken as a Legendary Blader, rather than him have already awoken offscreen.

Didn’t we see Julian from team Excalibur solo a team? And when GGG were down Yu and Tubasa against the US team, it was a debate who would battle twice until Riyuga stepped in. Why couldn’t Aguma just battle back to back? Or propose a 2v1 winner take all in that situation, he could definitely handle Kyoya and Benkei at once, pause.

I get that we're talking about the Metal Fury Beylin Fist, and that it's more interesting that way (and I would agree that they would lose against Team Wild Fang because they have only 2 strong bladers, except if they do some bs like Aguma fighting twice in a row). However, I think it would have been interesting to mention what would have happened if Beylin Fist had participated instead of GGG BEFORE Metal Fury (aka before Aguma got his star fragment). In this scenario, I honestly think that Whang Hu Zhong would have won against them. Bao would obviously been much weaker (we've seen Whang Hu Zhong members become stronger consistantly during season 2 and in season 3), so a battle against Chao Xin or Chi Yun would have been interesting. I think that Bao would have won against Chao Xin because his specialty is speed and strong attacks, just like Masamune (and I could see Bao being able to do what Masamune did against Chao Xin, or maybe just overpower him depending on his strenght) ; I would think that he'd lose to Chi Yun though, because Chi Yun is much more strategic than Chao Xin, and he'd go all out from the start against Bao with the whole Beylin squabble (and I just think that he's stronger than Chao Xin). In any case though, I think that Da Xian would beat Aguma pre-star fragment. We've seen how powerful the star fragment is (hell, even Yuki was pretty strong after receiving it, even though he didn't even know how to blade properly before). Aguma would be much weaker without it (we don't even know if Chronos evolved after receiving the star fragment or not, so it might even be another bey), and I think that Da Xian would win against him (and obviously any remaining member of Whang Hu Zhong would crush the random 3rd blader no problem). It would also be interesting to see what would have happened if the Beylin Temple and Fist had had to merge together to represent China in the World championship. Their team would then be composed of Da Xian, then Aguma, Chi Yun and Bao (or Chao Xin, but it's more interesting if there's two of each). If we take Aguma and Bao from Metal Fury, then I think that Whang Hu Zhong would just win the whole championship. I don't see any team win, even Gan Gan Galaxy (any member beats Masamune, Aguma beats Gingka, and that is if Tsubasa even wins his match, which we know he didn't originally against Chi Yun who would be the weakest member here imo). Lovushka are pushovers even if they tried to cheat (team Beylin are just too strategic and strong). Wild Fangs would put up a great fight, but I see team Beylin beating them 2-0 if they send Da Xian first against Nile, then Aguma against Kyoya (as long as Aguma fights Kyoya, team Beylin wins). Maybe Gan Gan Galaxy would come back as the Wild card by winning against Excalibur, but in any case I don't see them win this time either if the marchups are right (Aguma and Da Xian are just too strong). An interesting case would be Excalibur, since they would win depending on the running order. If Chi Yun is sent first against Klaus, he loses, then the only way team Beylin would win is if they send Bao and Aguma to stomp Wales and Sophie, and then Da Xian wins against Julian imo (unless Da Xian and Bao learned how to work together as a team before then, which honestly they could do). Bao vs Klaus could be close, and I think it might go either way (we just don't know enough about Bao, and Klaus could pull some breaking through the limit plot to win) ; but then Da Xian and Chi Yun would beat Sophie and Wales imo (I rank Da Xian above Julian, and we've seen Julian clap the Cetus twins and their joined special move with no difficulty). Then they would obviously clap team Garcia ; none of the team Beylin members would get caught in their trap, so even if they go with the 4 battle series. I see them get through maybe Chi Yun and Bao considering how Selene and Enzo did against Chi Yun, Chao Xin and Kenta in episode 96, even though this was bs imo), but there is no way any of them go through Da Xian (especially if he comes out just against Argo), and in any case they all get stomped by Aguma. Then there is just Star Breaker, and I think it could only go one way: Zeo wins against Chi Yun or Bao thanks to the arrangement system (unless they've gotten much stronger, which honestly could have happened if they trained with Aguma and Da Xian), then Da Xian beats Jack, and Aguma beats Damian (I could even see Da Xian beat Damian if he trained under Aguma and fought against strong bladers during the tournament, like Nile, the Wales and Sophie or Julian, but going off of what we've seen he's not beating Damian in Metal masters). Damn this rant was long, I just love team Whang Hu Zhong.
