  • Time team always got the kids involved. That’s the best part. Good stuff. Teaching their history in an engaging way.

I must say, I am very impressed with the students in this episode, particularly the teenagers. It is always wonderful when there is a school group involved but this group stood out to me as one of my favourites. They where all so skilled, professional and committed to the process. I think they all should be very proud of themselves (even if this was years ago and they are adults now lol)
  • we just passed the twenty sixth anniversary of this episode being filmed. thanks to adam and his work on the school website we know that for posterity. thanks adam. i hope youre living your best live buddy.
  • I wish they did stuff like this in all schools around the world showing kids what was in the past and how people in the past lived

I love how the whole school gets involved with this. The same as with other projects were the community gets involved in their our homeowners or other amateurs or students working on it. It’s how it should be.

  • This has to be one of my favorite shows the way you involved the school into your research was amazing. You inspired a ton of new archeologists and all kinds of hard workers god bless you Timeline 🙏 ❤️ 😊
  • This is so fantastic. Bringing history to life for these students will give them such an advantage of understanding it. The students were so involved and so impressed with them. Great episode
  • Greetings to you from Iraq, I am Ahmed. Well done by involving the students in the subject of the research.
  • Love the way Mick says "catheerdral". And was odd to see someone other than Phil flint knapping, but then he jumped right in

  • "Hitting a gas main would be disappointing" you have to love Tony
  • Brilliant idea, a whole grammar school full of future archeologists and historians!
  • This was clearly filmed in the 80’s /90’s…. I’d love to know how many of these students were inspired to go on to become historians or archeologists! I’m sure this visit peeked the interest of many of them!

I almost became an archeologist. I should have made my way to England. I'm just fascinated with UK history and archeology! Can't take that much of a pay cut now haha but wish I could.
