She lived next door FOR 20 YEARS and it’s NEVER gotten this bad

I found this house and noticed that there were lawn care business cards taped to the door and the mailbox was zip-tied shut. The neighbor next door was mowing her lawn so I stopped to get some more info. She told me that the owner passed away a few years ago and the city continues to fine the relatives. She has lived next door for over 20 years and has never seen it this bad. Luckily, I got it cleaned up and looking amazing again! Also, I got to try out my new Bad Boy mower.

How do you all like the new addition to my setup?
  • Dear Spencer, you motivate me so much that today in my neighbourhood i started cleaning the front of a yard on the inside at a house that is empty for 5 years,i going back tomorrow to continue and i am doing it for free,i love this type of work that you and i do,thanks for being my motivation

I agree with the one neighbor lady who said this is a lovely property. I would really like to see a follow-up video where all of the old, dying trees are cut down, and the gigantic, overgrown hedges and shrubs are cut way, way back.

The reveal was not a disappointment. Job well done Spencer.

Might seem like a small thing, but your putting the gutters back together for drainage says a lot. Great Job!

It's sad that so many homes are just left to rot while some family could be enjoying living there and take care of the place themselves.

These corner houses especially make the neighborhood look so much better when cleaned up as they are so visible to so many neighbors and people passing by

I'm sure the former owner is smiling down that you did this for her property, and the new owners will appreciate what you did this for them. I love your videos man keep up the good work!

The Bad Boy mower powered right through the tall grass and the engine didn't even bog down once. Very nice mower for your needs. 💯👍

I’m amazed, and saddened, by the number of abandoned houses. Thank you for making those neighborhoods better places
  • I love the before and after shots. I am currently helping my neighbors with their lawns and weeds. All my best to you bubba.

Spence your really making a difference in all of these communities. I think of each time your doing these clean ups, who the previous owners were, and how your paying honor to them. Keeping up with one’s lawn is hard work, I do mine myself, and i put so much pride into every decision I make while making my property look nice. So I can tell by all the placed rocks, cut in flower beds, and chosen shrubs, that at one time someone stood on there land and THEY felt the pride i’m referring to. Again, you are paying homage to those that were there before. Keep up the good work!

You always get corner lots where you have so much curbside to do! Good job!

Love how Spencer reconnects the gutters. So conscientious! 😊

Thank you for the tip on how to thread a weed whacker. You made it look so easy! I’ve been caring for my 91 year old mother’s yard when I have no experience. I’m 67. You can teach an old dog new tricks! So grateful.

I know I say this every time but OMG that’s a big lot! You deserve a medal for this one, Spencer!

This was a lovely and loved home at one time.

What a cute house. I don't understand why the Niece didn't contact a realtor asap before the home deteriorated. And once a squatter gets in there, they are tough to legally remove.

Spencer, we’ve been watching your videos for a while now and just wanted to say you do amazing work. Donating your time and hard work to help the community really shows who you are. Be well, The Murphys in Chicago
  • @richardbrink11
Great job you've done. I just realized that once you have done this work and people see the garden and everything, they will no longer come to squat it or something like that. It looks good and I hope it inspires people to keep it or sell it. Love your work. Big shout out from the Netherlands Netherlands ❤
