Long comment alert 🚨 Gabe “I am amazing at everything” Coaster, So proud of you and SO honored, man. As a songwriter, there is no greater compliment than someone taking an original piece of your work and reinterpreting it in their own way. I love this rendition so much, bro. Here are a few things that stood out to me: -It was awesome to hear it with the tempo slowed down! Nice touch! -Great job on the guitar, it’s a more difficult part to play and sing simultaneously. Especially with the lead line in between sections. -Love that you sang the bridge the way I sing it at live shows and the way it will be on the studio recording (which isn’t out yet). SO dope that you caught that variation from a live show. Major major kudos for noticing that and adding it to your performance. -“THE BIRDS” HAHAHA. That killed me that you guys included this. For those that care or don’t care, that’s a hilarious reference to my live video of this song. The video on my channel is of me playing the song live in Pebble Beach literally 5 minutes after I finished writing it, and towards the end, these frogs started croaking SUPER loud to the point that I almost started laughing and had to start over. Anyway, at the end I yell, “THE FROGS!!!” like an idiot, which is why they added “THE BIRDS!” at the end of this. During the bridge you hit that low note like it’s nothing bro, then immediately after, you hit a pretty high note. You’re freaking talented Gabe! I said this before but I’m genuinely proud of you and I know that you’re gonna do great things Gabe.
