Wow, the Knight player did AMAZING for someone with only 1k hours in a comp setting. I hope they know that what they accomplished in these matches is something to be proud of, even if they didn't quite reach Adriana's level. If this is their skill now, they're going to be a beast with more and more hours.

As someone who recently did a 48 winstreak with Knight, I gotta say that he is MUCH better in chase than in holding a 3-gen, but his real strength is in his ability to hold constant pressure on at least 3 survivors at a time. And this is what makes him boring for survivors: Knight is almost unbeatable if you tunnel someone out, even if it’s a “1 gen left” situation.

That first skull merchant game with no restrictions is generally how my games go. She is not just gen defense, she is SPEED.

6 AM, very laggy, a lot lower hours, no formal competitive games. Insane gameplay from the knight I literally learned so much about the knight that I didn’t know lol

The plays from Adriana in Round 2 were INCREDIBLE. She was oppressive all over the map, using her drones to get the upper hand in chase and still keeping track of other survivors while she did so. Absolutely nutty gameplay, super fun to watch. I really hope there’s a revolution of sorts with how people play Skull Merchant bc those chase addons are WILD

In my experience the most broken part of these killers is the amount of survivors who DC within 2 minutes of the match! I don’t think I have ever played a game with or against either killer that didn’t end with at least one DC.

I'm glad the Skull Merchant used a more anti-loop build to showcase the character CAN be played outside of a 3gen holder. Because I enjoy her and play her with the same addons and a similar build and always get people giving me crap or DCing even though I don't really use the drones on gens. So i'm glad they showcased, at least partly, she's good outside of 3 gen proxy.

This is EXACTLY how I play my Skull Merchant. I've tried to tell people on social forums that you don't have to stack gen kick perks to do well with her, but of course it was always disregarded due to the stigma from day 1. Glad there's finally some decent representation for us Chase Merchant mains!
