I love how little the Norse gods understand Kratos’ reasons for killing the Greek pantheon. Thor said that it was because they “hurt his feelings” and Odin says that he has no reason. They think Kratos was just a monster, killing the Greek gods because they taunted him or something, not because they physically and emotionally abused him for years. They even went so far as to kill him multiple times.

The way Odin hesitates when Kratos threatens to go back to his old ways. He knows full well there is nothing anyone in the Norse lands can do to stop Kratos if ever he returns to form.

“I paid back their blood a thousand times, and burned Olympus to the ground” holy fuck this is one of the best voice acting lines in the game

Odin asks Kratos if he knows what it is like to be worshipped but he knows. He was the god of war of Ares for a while in the Greek pantheon and the other gods feared his power.

"You don't care about mortals. You don't care about anything beyond yourself" Odin: is in a literal position of looking down upon everything & everyone Kratos: has lived among mortals as a mortal for decades raising a son

It still amazes how much kratos tightly holds back his past self. Literally during the first boss fight against thor, he was taunted by thor to lose himself and bring out the old kratos. He knows kratos is capable of killing monsters/titans larger than the jouthner giants but, he wants to see if those stories about kratos are true because kratos, after destroying the greek pantheon has become a boogeyman figure among other gods/pantheons.

When Kratos said "I've killed Gods greater than him" he meant I aint bitch made 😂

you know Odin is scared when he uses a dwarf as a meat shield

I really love how he breathes very deeply whenever he gets to that point of him going back to his old ways. Hes really trying to hold back as much as possible

I have never seen voices fit characters so perfectly, this game is extremely well made!

To anyone that didn't play the past games, Kratos was deeply loved by his soldiers when he was a general, and still deeply loved when he became the God of War (even tho he had little time to be revered before Zeus killed most of Sparta, and then Kratos killed the rest of Greece during his climb lol)

5:50 It’s ironic Odin says this because really if you compare Odins not much different. He’s not loved, he’s feared He doesn’t care for mortals He only cares about himself It’s a wonder why Freya never went back to him

"Return my son , or you may meet the god I once was" ... that gave me chills knowing the God slayer he was

Kratos echoing in his head: DO NOT DENY ME MY REVENGE

I love that Freya, ocne she learns what happened to his previous family and what made him what he is, she can't even imagine it because it is literally 10 or 100 times worse than what happened to her and the fact he understands her fully too, just made her grow as a person so much quicker than Kratos, because Kratos had no one to take them out of the path of vengeance, Freya literally had the ebodiment of what Vengeace does to a man right in front of her.

Thor using Mjolnir to jump start Kratos' heart and bring him back from the loading screen was great

What's funny about Norse gods is that they only know Kratos killed and destroyed Olympian and their gods but they don't know why Kratos destroyed Olympus or about his backstory.

I realy want time travel in a future game so the other characters can witness what an unstopable powerhouse Kratos is in full rage mode.
