I have visited to 3 pubs in Amsterdam Downtown, chosed 3 bars from different parts of Amsterdam centrum, ordered the same type of beers and compared the prices. Here is my experience. On this video not only i share Amsterdam bar and beer prices also compare the service, prices, area, Dutch life and some general knowledge about Amsterdam beer history.

We are experiencing high prices in 2023 due to inflation, this solo travel to 3 pubs would give you a little idea about the general night out prices. Very expensive now. I was paying 6.50 euro a pint sitting outside the International Theatre a few weeks back when i went to see the Tank.

Thanks for the interesting video. It is amazing how much the prices gone up. One thing NL had was, the price differential for beers between the bars and the supermarket was reasonable. Not anymore.

By the way, in my times, Bavaria used to be a student beer and no self-respecting older people (grown-ups) would want to be caught drinking it. And Europub being a tourist trap as it has always been, is charging 9 euro for it! Crazy! I wonder if the owners are still the Chinese.

Ouch 9 euros. I’ve learned not to buy the big glasses of beer as they get warm and I would rather move on after satisfying my thirst.
