Chancellor Rachel Reeves hits out at the former Government for a '£22 billion' public finances overspend and for misleading the public about the spending black hole she alleges.

Rachel Reeves announced that she would take “very tough decisions” to address a public spending black hole of around £20 billion – but no tax rises should be expected, a senior minister has said.

Shadow Chancellor Jeremy Hunt responded by saying the Chancellor would 'fool absolutely no one with a shameless attempt to lay the groundwork for tax rises.'

Yet ANOTHER reason that the British Electorate deserve a Public Inquiry into the corrupt criminality of the last 14 years of maleficence Tory governance. We need the Tories held to account and to face criminal prosecution, with the proceeds of crime laws employed to recover OUR embezzled taxpayer monies.
  • Give it 5-10 years and England will vote Tory again...its what they do.
  • Tax payers, private sector, pensioners, pension payers are about to get hit

Although Hunt 'saved' his Tory chums buttox post Truss, here he is still incapable of realising all the wrongs Tories have done... not just with money, but blood too... and seems authoritative in saying what he does, the idiot. The Tories don't even make a worthy opposition. At least Reeves reports a credible oration.
