I’m glad that once he transforms, Patrick isn’t still stupid and completely oblivious, being actually intimidated and afraid, it’s more in line to the OG Patrick from seasons 1-3, the arts also just… incredible like WOW-

You know, I have been thinking about this worthy and unworthy thing with XML. What if the way he decides if they are worthy or not is if they are not scared when he transforms? Spongebob ran, Patrick got scared, Krabs was angry from the get-go, Squidward ran. Garry on the other hand did not think past "Oh, it is Spongebob!" This makes me think that if someone just treats XML the way they would treat a normal person, no matter what, then they are worthy.

I like how Patrick's facial expressions didn't change while spongebob was transforming in manual blast but they changed after he finished 💀

Man, I really love when people show the true amount of emotion a character is feeling in their art, and in this you can hear Patrick's sorrow, and you can see his fear, he's absolutely terrified by what his "friend" has become, and is so deeply saddened at what's happening, by the end he fully realizes he's about to be killed by the one person he holds closer than anyone or anything, and he's scared beyond words, he can barely even look at "SpongeBob" from the form he has, the monster he's become, and what he's about to do, the starfish is fully aware he's about to die, but still tries to plead with his soon to be killer, before he's torn apart, nothing turns me off more than a half assed piece giving such little emotion to something or making it feel like those doing the work just aren't interested, but this is a showing of all the passion you have for this, its stunning, its amazing, keep up the good work.

I kind of feel bad for Patrick, I mean, he's traumatized. It's seeing SpongeBob like this... But I wish he would have known sooner.

More during the end, I somewhat like how Patrick still believes that that may be still Spongebob, so he tries to put on a smile with the usual "You can stop now, pal. . .", or the "Spongebob, you might still be in there. Please, friend, come back. You're scaring me. . .". Of course, coming to quickly learn that it is NOT Spongebob.

i have a theory maybe spongeXML is the original spongebob from seasons 1 - 3 and 4 coming back to kill all the replacements of his friends, but coming back as a prototype spongebob design, and if the character is accurate enough to their OG counterpart, he lets them live and calls them worthy

It makes sense that Patrick at first wouldn't be scared since he is dumb, so he wouldn't notice anything wrong Edit:This is also a amazing cover with fantastic art and I just love Exes based off of ExE/Faker I'm not a big fan of Hog but this still slaps Low key slapping. From what I can tell so far, spongeXML only kills people it finds unworthy, which seems to line up with the 7 sins, patrick (gluttony), squidward (pride), and mr. Krabs (greed), Gary was spared because it was none of this, so maybe a later character such as sandy will also be spared.

Literally before knowing Manual Blast was in this, I was joking to myself how Patrick sounds similar to Scorched and loved it. Update: on a side note, Seeing XML say Patrick isn't worthy and... THAT happening- I... wonder if this'll be a soft reboot of the story? XML's story. I love this guy, and I love seeing you flesh out his story over time!
