It's a shame it never got made. Even in Alex's unrefined run-down of the concept, it sounds like it would have been a lot of fun.

I wish this was done, it would have given Wendy some much needed character development and some bonding time with her boss which is a funny trope not seen often.

I am so frickin' mad that this wasn't a real b-plot. It sounds SO good, and would fit the show so well. What a damn shame, and even if Alex won't/can't make this story fit in an episode, why not have it be a mini story in a comic or something. I would have personally love to read a Wendy and Stan story in Lost Legends, it could have been canon-ish! Sigh C'est comme ca.

This a very interesting story, given Stan's normally unapologetic about his amorality. But I figure it's something like in "Roadside Attraction", where Stan gives someone terrible life-advice, and when he sees it blow up in their face, he admits he was wrong and advises that person to do better. In that episode, it was Dipper about romance, and here it's Wendy about crime. And since Alex talked about it at a convention, it's semi-canon.

This story would’ve fit perfectly in season 2 since Stan would risk his fame & popularity for exposing Gideon to save Wendy from jail

Man, I miss Gravity Falls. Nothing else has its heart, although Amphibia's growing on me.

Well, Alex Hirsch did state that he regretted not having done more with Wendy - but since Disney wants to make more content about Gravity Falls, this character might finally get her chance to shine.

I think this removed B-story was part of the script for Blendin's Game. Stan and Wendy only appeared in two scenes before we see them again 10 years in the past, so either Mabel, Dipper and Soos's A-story was too long to fit in Stan and Wendy's B-story, or when there was no way to connect that with the A-story in the end, the person who wrote Blendin's Game had to make the A-story a bit longer somehow.
