I'm finding quite a few of my favourite influences using expensive brands rather than drug store brands. Swapping out Dior for YSL. It's disheartening. I remember the days when you used L'Oréal bronzer and thought it was great. I just can't even think of spending this sort of money and it not working out. But overall it's depressing to see how drug store brands can't stand up against luxury brands anymore.

Hi Jemma! I had the same experience with the Pat McGrath under eye powder. Meh. I also adore the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder #3. It is perfection, even on my dry, mature skin. ❤

Thank you so much Gemma. I’m so glad you mentioned the YSL mascara. I got this to try after watching your video and luckily got a discount on it. Although it looked lovely on my lashes it failed to be waterproof and also really smudged. I’m always on the lookout to try a new waterproof mascara but have still not found anything that comes close to my Beauty Pie one. 😊

I first watched in COVID and found this Chanel a delight and at first learnt a lot. I’ve sensitive skin so soon learnt that I couldn’t tolerate most of the products being advertised. I’ve noticed over the years the products being advertised now are mostly high end. I’ve bought some but now I realise I’ve got my makeup kit that suits me and apart from being addicted to lipsticks I don’t need to buy any new stuff every season. I like Gemma’s presentation but would like to see her do something else apart from test new products. I think she’s great at explaining and teaching.

The Dior “bronzer” works best as a blush .. disappointing but at least I can use it . I use a cream bronzer and top it with the pink Dior. I hope it works for you ❤

I bought a sample size of the Givenchy powder after one of your videos. I've aleays stayed away from powders so i have not tried using it yet. I'm now going to give it a go

The waterproof Lash Clash is insane to take off. I like a waterproof mascara, however, I also like having eyelashes. Also, there is just soooo much product on the brush that is clumps. I won’t purchase again.

I wonder if you drop a teeny weeny bit of Duraline into the mascara tube would that work to loosen it up a bit? I use Duraline a little bit, mainly with mascaras, it works with some but not others .. I've never tried it with Lash Clash ... but may be worth a 'lash' (sorry .. couldn't resist!!) xxx
