The guy has retired for 20 years and he is still mentioned daily at every occasion... Greatest ATHLETE who ever lived. Period.

Jason Kidd..... " I had a great night but we lost. It's all about winning." You don't hear that from the divas that play today.

Anyone that thinks Lebron is remotely close to Jordan has something wrong w their brain

Man, I balked at Kobe being the next MJ when he was coming up. I didn't hate on him but I was just like, "naw, nobody beats Jordan, don't play." Seeing the respect and camaraderie between those two, Kobe's similar dedication and love for the game, it's beautiful how that torch was passed. I actually get it in the feels listening to Kobe talk about it. Great video as always, YG!

I was lucky to watch MJ growing up. Basketball was different in those days. The game was so intense and every point was earned nothing was given. Best moments were in the finals where MJ truly shined.
  • I don't know, man, there is no one comparable to him. I mean, there are 75 players in the HOF, but even they are in awe of him. It's crazy how much he has impacted and influenced a whole generation even to this day!

Frankly, it's insulting to MJ that people say LeBron is at his level, much less passed him. There is MJ, and then there is a fight for second place. Kobe is the nearest thing to MJ because he imitated his style of play. Fact is, LeBron doesn't have the skill set, the determination, the win at all costs and the never give up mentality that MJ possessed. The first time LeBron lost in the finals and the first time he quit on his team and walked out before the game was over, I knew that he would never be at MJ's level.

I fee lucky having grown up watching Michael. And there was nothing taken for granted. We knew we were watching the GOAT

The best of the best saying these things about MJ and so many guys talking about him glowing, his aura…nobody in life has said anything close about the guy who crowned himself king and GOAT, you know, the so-called idiot chosen one. Yeah.
  • EVERY game MJ played in I saw something I'd never seen any Basketball player ever do! Sadly, I've never seen anyone since MJ have that special ability!

Miss Kobe. As a true sports fan the world of sports just feels a less important without him here. 🙏
  • Discussion has to be for second place, the distance between this alien and everybody else is just too big

I was blessed to be from Chicago to see his whole career 😂😂😂 I can't put it into words honestly

“He was really black… so he could outrun everyone”. Charles the legend.

I have never come close to idolizing celebrities etc. but when it comes to Mike, I never tire of hearing about his greatness.
  • The greatest compliment Jordan ever received was from an NBA coach who said " If Jordan had never dunked the ball, he still would be the greatest player of all time. " ... wow.

My first time seeing MJ was in 83’ while I was at my first military base assignment (Holloman AFB, New Mexico). MJ was balling and on ESPN playing for North Carolina. After about 5 minutes my roommate and both dapped each other and said “#23 is The Next One!!!” OMG!!!
