I'm proud to introduce my mother Wilma to you, even though it's been a 'Couple Years' since she actually pushed my baby carriage. Lastly, our sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to Mr. Dick James, Mr. Stephen James and all the people at D.J.M. You have been unreal, and I can dig that!

One of the best blues guitar stylists ever to live, continuing a lineage started by T Bone Walker and carried on by Clarence Brown, Albert Collins and this guy! Today we have nothing to compare.

Makes it for happy funky. Really cheers me out of the perennial blues that afflict most of us .Today.

Man O' man, I grew up to this album...dad used to break his drums out on the weekends and jam to this album, then a Hendrix album...no wonder I became a guitarist! Love Johnny G. W.
  • ...Good day, Growing up myself in the 70's with the music of the late Legend Great Master Funk Johnny " Guitar " Watson was an unforgettable time; oh how I miss this greatness of an artist I was fortunate to speak to and see once live very very much, but luckily the characteristic sound of Master Funk Johnny "Guitar " Watson is still much alive decades later and will live on for ever ... (RIP JGW).... Thank you for your video, you made my day, Jan-W
