The new Roblox profile update is here! But it is more of a downgrade than an update! The status is now removed and the about section is now editable on the profile rather than the settings.

What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

It's probably removed because of display names. I mean, it makes sense, the blank space is for the username (ex: @SharkBL0X) and the usual username place is for the display name. (ex: Shark)

Just because “people don’t use it anymore”, even though they do, that isn’t a good enough reason to remove it. It looks silly, weird and removes a useful feature that is just good to be there. There is no point in this update, it’s just silly!

IKR It sucks. Who ever comes with ideas for Roblox updates are seriously dumb. This was a classic feature :/ All Roblox updates these days suck. Even for me the about section broke as I use better roblox, but it is now fixed...

on the blank space they're gonna add your "@" like on twitter how you have your '@' and then your display name gets replaced with your username

When changing the about section it asks for ur pin code, it literally says "You cannot perform this action with a locked pin. Unlock your pin in the Account Settings page." it would be better if they asked u for the pin code immediately. Its just annoying to go to ur settings and unlock ur pin then go back to ur profile.
