  • Tip: you can get coral fans by applying bonemeal to sand, dirt, or gravel blocks that are under water. Thanks for the tutorial! I'm gonna give it a try in the desert, since I need a lot of rabbit feet.

Awesome farm! I like the seamlessness of the tutorial. If I ever pull away from Vault Hunters, I will have to build this in the world early game. Keep the content coming Prowl! Let's Goooo!!!!!

I like this idea for leather! Would be cool to theme it like a butcher shop and sell the pork chops and chicken to butcher villagers. Bad return on emeralds but a way to use up the excess I think.

I never thought about creating a passive mob farm, but thinking about it, it makes a LOT of sense. Yes, you can bread animals pretty quickly, but you also need the crops to feel them..... with the time to wait for them to grow up as well as the farming for crops, that's pretty time intensive. Leaving you console running while you are doing other things..... like sleeping...... I really like that idea!! Thanks Prowl 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Love the farm. Definitely going to build it seeing that I'm changing to bedrock!!
  • @DC.Branding
Awesome concept, going to have a play around with this. Would be cool to see if it was possible to take ideas from the newer squid/fish farm. Build 2 of these 4 chunks apart and afk between them for double the rates

    Nice and easy thanks prowl😮

Great video I can only count on your tutorials, Can you make a effective drowned farm next?
  • @Ctysawsom3

when the update is out will you be making a new mob farm since the spawning mechanics are changing?... I've got no rockets and don't want to invest time in something that isn't going to work in a few weeks. I've only got so much time to play to begin with. This looks nice and easy btw 😁

Seems like the perfect farm to place between the villages of your double iron farm, paired with a few butchers in the bottom in the village.
  • Nice timing. I got a few butchers. But by the time I'm done getting return from my iron farm getting tools and armor and enchantments. I got one butcher that does steak. He is my top valued butcher. He saved me for the past 2 years. But they changed it that you can't get steak from them anymore. Cow farms are so slow.

I definitely like this farm as a proof of concept, and I am going to try it out the next time I'm in early game in a world. I have a question, though: since the rates are never going to be high based on the passive mob cap (so very unlikely to exceed hopper speed), would it be possible to set up a small hopper line with a MIS chest at the front to filter mob drops out, plus a hopper that feeds into a smoker (then chest)? That would theoretically seem like a decent balance between maintaining your Looting 3 benefits for the Trident Killer while also getting cooked meat as a final product (and having some drop organization without having to set up individual item filters for each drop; darn you, multi-colored wools). Love your farms, though; I officially consider an Iron Farm early game now, thanks to you lol
  • @RockyGrips
I added a mob and drowned farm to my fish farm. Kind of a passive mob farm

Yet one more Farm I will be putting in my new world when I restart
