the Navi is what the Cub used to be. A cheap entry motorcycle for everyone. If you want people to keep buying motorcycles, you need to get them to START buying motorcycles
  • Proud owner of Honda Navi , 5 yrs + and still running just fine. Not a single day with issue. easily touches 80km/hr on the highway. Really smooth on the lower speeds, gets through traffic easily.
  • The Navi seems like the perfect vehicle for myself. I'm currently in High School, and my commute to work is about 8 minutes for a job that pays $8.50 an hour. With the Navi, I would put $3.79 in once a week and have a pretty low overhead for getting there when accounting for maintenance. The roads on my commute never get above 45, so I'd have no trouble maintaining speed.
  • I drove the navi from Delhi to Leh in 2017. Installed a K&N Air filter with Akrapovic exhaust to keep up with the altitude + Auxiliary lamps bolted to the indicators for night riding in the hills. The bike lived up way more than my expectations.

This is still smart as hell from Honda. It will get people that would never have bought a bike into the hobby and most likely buying a better bike down the road

Ironically, Honda stopped selling this in India way back in 2019 when they figured it would get more expensive to make it meet the new BS6 emission requirements. In fact dealers were giving the Navi for free if you purchased one their more expensive motorbikes.

For someone with a passing interest in motorcycles, this seems like a fun weekend toy. I'm glad Honda is still making cheap bikes
  • The storage compartment part was actually hilarious. Well done!!!
  • an interesting fact about Centralia is that the fire was originally started by the local town government. The state had outlawed the burning of garbage and the town disagreed and burned the garbage anyways, starting the fire that would eventually wipe the town off the map completely. The snow plowing budget did fall to zero though.

Navi was discontinued here in India in 2020. It was like $800 brand new! Sadly it didn’t sell as much. Still a fun little bike with Honda’s reliability

A couple days ago my wife and I both bought bikes I got the 2023 Grom she got the Navi she grew up riding bigger bikes and I grew up to NEVER ride lol we have been riding none stop on 45mph roads and she LOVES her Navi. Only big difference is she doesn’t have to shift and anytime I need to store something she has that storage compartment lol. She doesn’t care to shift or worry about gears. I drive a manual car and NEED to shift. I’m not sure why but I just love manuals. Anyways this Navi is a killer bike for a beginner or someone just over the cool factor of shifting lol. Wouldn’t recommend for anything 55MPh and up
  • thank you for being humble and giving honda’s are fair shake down unlike some other motorcycle youtubers

This was the most entertaining video I’ve watched in a while. Thanks for the laughs. I knew I liked it for a reason, I’m a 63yr young grandma. My kind of bike or scooter. I love it!
  • @bryanrb21
The Navi is perfect for someone who doesn't have much money and just needs a way to get to work and back home. I think its a bargain for under 2k and the mpg. 💯
  • @grinsler2jz
I bought one at the start of the summer, just about 1,000 miles on it now and loved every second. The compartment up front is amazing, this is our small grocery getter in many situations. Do not regret it one bit, amazing little bike.
  • @Walker_Mcloud
I would love too see you two making more trips! It would be the perfect thing I've been missing. Like the old top gear UK specials.
  • @silkmonkey
This is the kind of thing I kind of want to have in my garage for the local 50mph and under roads...as a non-rider. Feels like something to help introduce a friend to riding without the...not sure what....of a full size bike even a small one. And the price is awesome.
  • @Supercell725
Seriously, you guys are more entertaining that most of the stuff on tv. Lots of smiles and spontaneous laughter here with the guys watching your Navi test drive.
  • @billyblooddrop
Happy new bike 🏍just checking some of your travels 👍

Even though I don't own a bike I've always been intrigued by the Honda From and now the Navi. Probably too small for me but I've also been looking at E-bikes. I wonder how these would compare to the Talaria Sting R or the Sauron? I'd be much more interested in seeing how these stack up against each other in real world use against each other than against a mini van. However, I'm very glad to see you producing videos again.
