See how I took boring IKEA shelves and skinned them with some laser engraved plywood, threw on some Lego panels for the top, added in some LED lighting, and ended up with two MONSTER selves spanning over ten feet each for an ULTIMATE LEGO display!

    8:33 Just wondering why you didn't slide off the big shelf, put the short shelf in place, and then put the big shelf back up?

    Gluing the baseplates to the shelves seemed like a very unnecessary step and now they can't be used anywhere else. And those sand baseplates are expensive.

    I’m thinking of using IKEA Lack shelves like you did, but I’m concerned about the weight bearing capacity of the shelves. Any idea how much weight is on your shelves? Thanks.

    I dont know if you didnt talk about it and not show it but you didnt say you put finishing on that last tile you cut. you only said you sanded it. didnt know if it mattered to you if you missed that?
