  • Thank you. Your videos are very helpful. I have lost most of hearing in only 1 ear. Other is totally normal. I’m glad I discovered your channel in my research. It’s the best source of information I’ve been able to find.

You are one of the best Tubers out there. Amazing knowledge, transparency, presentation & likeability. No ridiculous zoom cuts or 30second logo intros with blasting music. Just the goods. Bravo! I wish I had a friend like you :) Do you know if the newer Costco Rexton Bicore offering is the same/similar as Signia Charge and Go AX? Thanks and keep up the good work!
  • I need to get hearing aids and have an appointment with an audiologist. Your videos have helped me immensely. I might have gone the direct to consumer online route had I not found your channel. Thank you.

When I first got my hearing aid 6 years ago, there wasn't much information out there about hearing aids. My audiologist hardly explained anything to me and I didn't know what to ask either. My first hearing aid was the basic Resound model that had no volume control button. The only thing I could do was change the settings. I love that I can now hear better now but I wasn't in love with my hearing aid. Sometime it would be super loud. Then I got another hearing aid for my other ear through the state and they required the model that has buttons where you could adjust the volume when in a very noisy area. I had no idea that was even an option. I love my new hearing aid right away. However I had mention that my right hearing aid is a little uncomfortable and I don't wear it often. My audiologist just said that my right ear is a lot small then my left ears and didn't offer much help. Recently I went to get my hearing tested again and I asked about new hearing aids since mine has started to have a buzzing sound. It was obviously time to get a new one. Again my audiologist was not very informative so I started to do my own research. I don't think a lot of audiologist who can hear normal, really understand how important the features on hearing aids matters so much to someone who is deaf or have hard of hearing. As someone who likes to go out with friends, do activities, and live a normal lifestyle, I want the best hearing aid out there is so I can live my best life comprehending and conversating. The information you shared in your videos are so important and should be part of every hearing aid consultation. From the small to big features on the hearing aids, it all make a difference. Thank you so much for making these comprehensive videos about hearing aids!!!!
  • Hello, thank you for this! Will you be making a video for the top in-ear options as well?
  • This is great. I will look up each one for the prices. Thank you.

I believe the Rexton BiCore hearing aids available at Costco are equivalent to the Signia Pure Charge & Go hearing aids. They’re made by the same company and have the same accessories and the feature list seems very similar. I just got the Rextons and I’m happy with them so far.
  • I've had hearing challenges since I was in the 3rd grade. I was using them until someone teased me in class and stopped using since. 30 years later, I found myself getting my hearing tested and in the market for hearing aid. Obviously have matured since then and looking forward to the advancements in technology now. I have moderate severe to severe hearing loss in left ear, right ear is still doing well. I'm not sure if I can purchase just one hearing aid as I don't really need one for my right ear. I'm seriously considering Phonak Paradise Life since I do a bit of hiking and want that extra protection for sweat and possibly wet conditions while hiking and camping. This video has been really helpful and looking forward to my next appointment on Monday.

Thank you for an excellent video! I had been trying to decide between the Phonak Audeo Paradise 90R and Oticon More for over 2 months. I loved the technology of the Phonak but for some reason, my Audiologist could not explain every time the Autosense would change programs it would make a musical tone, so loud that my son and husband once heard it. Became very annoying and returned them for another set of Phonak's. The same thing occurred, frequent musical tones throughout the day even if my environment didn't change. The Audiologists spoke with Phonaks technical service and they couldn't explain it either so finally decided to try the Oticon More 1, picked them up yesterday and so far so good. They do not have some of the features that Phonak has but the sound quality is good and no longer do I hear the program changes. Seems no one else has experienced this, maybe I am the odd one out :)
  • Dr. Thanks for the video. i am new here. I am a Nigerian and a less priviledged. i have been diagnosed of moderately severe hearing loss in my left hear since 15 years ago, bur i have not been able to acquire any hearing aids since then till date because of fund. i have just been managing the situation with hard of hearing symptoms everyday. i will be very grateful even if i can be entitled to free hearing aids even if it is old that can fit into my hearing condition. i shall be grateful for this if considered sir. Yours brother in Love.
  • Thank you for making this video. It is interesting as well as informative. This is the first time I have heard of a hearing aid that works with Tinnitus. In one ear I have hearing loss do to Stapes Bone fusion and produces the Tinnitus. I think the Tinnitus may have been caused by the surgery to improve hearing in that ear. I was told that a hearing aid will not help that ear’s hearing ability but I was told that 20 years ago and much has changed. I will check out the in-depth descriptions of each one later.

Hi Cliff, when I cup my hand over my right ear I hear a beeping sound . Have not been able to get a reason for this from audiologist or the my hearing aid company. Should I be concerned ? I respect your answer and your professionalism.
