John’s consistently my favorite guest on Colbert because it always feels like two old friends getting each other’s opinions on recent events and just laughing about it (Yes I know they worked together on The Daily Show.)

I'm a British student currently studying in the US, and I fake an American accent SO MUCH. It's just easier to get through a brief interaction with no 'do I hear a British accent??!?' reactions.

I love the idea that there are people in America who met John Oliver out in the wild but did not notice because he spoke like slowed down John Wayne. "This guy came in today and totally looked like John Oliver!" "Was it really him?" "Naw it was just some dude from Texas who looked like him."

Stephen Colbert, John Oliver and John Stewart absolutely should do some sort of hr long show together at least once a year for fans, variety show, skits and just sit in chairs and roast each other. I'd pay to see that. I laugh every time any combination of the 3 are together 🤣
