Excellent !! The left hand towards the fingers makes it a breeze to keep the pressure down through the handle on the takeaway i also find i can stay in my posture better on the downswing as a result . This just happened as aby product of the backswing , nothing i did consciously. Straightened me out immediately . Big thankyou for sharing 👍

Brilliant….. so much more than the ‘show 2 knuckles at address with the v’s pointing at your right shoulder’….stuff that is taught.

I have been playing golf since I was a young talker. This is the best explanation I have ever seen or read. Thank you.
  • Hi Stuart. Can you talk a bit about the elbow pits with the strong grip please. Not sure which way left elbow should be pointing. Love your content.👍👍

G'day Stuart. Changing my grip to your strong version in the fingers has transformed my game. I've been stumbling aroungh for forty years and finally found "something" that has given me a new lease of golf life. Thank you for your candour and persistance with this.

Mate... this is my third video of yours. Best visual feel breakthrough I've had in years. I'm a self-taught player and manage pretty well, but I have not had swing command or confidence in years. I score the same as 20 years ago so I know I'm a wiser player now, but I play safe and frustrated. I miss going after it and flushing it. I thought Malaska was the answer and chased inside out, dropping hands, bow the left wrist. Nonsense. Stay grounded, maintain the inside, pull the handle into the swing and square the face with the forearms. Through impact, maintain the inside, rotate forearms keeping the face parallel to the path by breaking down the left wrist. Wow!! All the lag I want...throttle up with the legs and pressure into the ball. Damn...well done.

STU ... you have absolutely helped me mentally and your explanations of the golf swing has helped me drop strokes and i dont feel like i labor on the course.
  • Thanks, just found your Instruction- your explanation is in detail but at the same time understandable with regard to one’s swing.

I tried the grip today. Would like to upload a pic to show you. I have been struggling with arthritis in the base of my thumbs mainly. This grip seemed to offer a lot more support. I am not a big hitter but did shoot a better score I felt today and got my first birdie since I don’t know when. Will keep trying. I’m a more senior player and stiffness and mobility and a big issue. I want to get better but started golf at 54 and it ain’t easy with psoriatic arthritis.
  • Brilliant!!! I started pushing down on the handle to start the takeaway and I'm now striking the ball crisper and so much further.
  • Hi Stuart, really enjoyed the video. Having issues with a really painful base of my left thumb whenever I swing a club. Right hand seems to be putting a lot of pressure into that area. Any idea what I could try to solve this issue? Thanks
  • Probably the best explanation of the grip! First video I have seen and subscribing for more. Thank you
  • Well said, grip is so vital to a good golf swing. Not enough people recognize it's importance nor do enough people talk about it's importance. Thanks for doing so. Cheers.

Just came over from the Monday live. Great information, thank you.
  • @JACKBRUNET
Not boring, best grip video i ever seen and enforces why i have been using a strong grip that is exactly the same as yours. Everyone , over the years, been telling me its too strong but i never changed it as it' s the only grip that allows me to release.
  • Great video stuart thank you for the recommendation on the live earlier. I've got a lot of work to do with my palm grip and right hand underneath. Feels really strong now.
  • @nkstucci9664
I was placing the grip lower in the fingers so the pad on my left hand was not creating as much stability. Amazing how it makes the swing feel so much better!
  • Great explanation of the grip....one question....before taking the club away should I be pushing down on the handle of the club?
  • @TheSwineheart
This is the best of your grip series videos and your presentation is getting really good.
