  • Ok, Gordon! Taking control of Gotham. Making the hard choices for the better of the city. What's harder to live with, revenge or resentment? Love the black & white, sets the tone perfectly and give this it's own character. Favorite moment is when the tide changes and Joker senses he's not the craziest one in the wagon. Great job, all the details and hard work can be seen on screen!

Fantastic. “I don’t want to die.” Pop.
  • @Azenatrail
The Joker’s last line was delivered perfectly.
  • I've never managed to see a batman film that pulls the whole "No killing" thing into an actual perspective without ruining Bruce's characterization. Having Jim play executioner is honestly amazing because it strikes to the core of what makes batman so intresting. Jim isn't a nihilist, he doesn't have the meditations to do it again as far as I see it, and yet he's not absolved. He's committed a nessecary evil, and Bruce will never look at him the same because the "by the book" repor the two have is shattered.

Mark Meer is absolutely astonishing as the Joker. Wow.
  • In the part where Joker says "I don't want to die", you can hear the fear in his voice and see the terror in his eyes. Well done.
  • That long laugh by Joker at the end and his last line was the most honest and sane Joker has ever been
  • Whoever the actor is playing the Joker really nailed it on the head
  • @VarianNash
He will always be Commander Shepard to me, but Mark Meer just nailed it as The Joker! 😳

3:04 Just that cut to Joker gives me such a visceral reaction. It's like The Man Who Laughs, just "Oooh fu- nOPE! nopenopenopenopeNopeNOOOOPE"

The acting. The script. The cinematography. How does this not have a million views? This feels like something from DC, not a fanmade film. Amazing job.
  • This is two people in the back of a car for ten minutes and it's still one of the best Batman stories ever crafted. Indescribable respect to everyone who was a part of this. Thank you.

I love how we slowly see Joker become more and more serious. He's trying to get under gordon's skin, but for some reason he isn't getting a reaction. He gets annoyed, clearly. Beautiful performances from everyone, and Joker actually looked really unique and creepy.

The idea is badass. Mr.J want his death is done by batman but Jim took it so he doesnt want to die.
  • Although I can see most members of the Bat-Family being deep down glad that the Joker has died, but Bruce’s dynamic with Jim will never be the same. Someone Bruce respected enough to do the right thing technically did do the right thing for the betterment of everyone in Gotham… But not through the name of the law that the two mutually agreed on when they started working together… Now, Bruce can no longer look at Gordon the same way because that mutual agreement is no longer valid because of the “necessary evil” that Jim committed.
  • Okay besides the amazing acting, cinematography, lighting, black and white aesthetic is anyone gonna talk about how amazing the Bat cowl? Like its one of the best and I'm assuming its on a budget too so really impressive with the cowl.

Batman’s actor is badass, Gordon’s is massively impressive, Joker’s is comic accurate and horrifying, congrats to the crew and truly thank you for nearing Nolan’s expertise.
