RIP Basil Poledouris, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Michael Kamen, Maurice Jarre, John Barry, and other noted composers in the film industry whose music gave triumph, inspiration, and nostalgia to all moviegoers. They will be missed but their music shall and always will live on.

It's amazing how the sounds - Whatever those sounds are - timed as well as they are, give the audial illusion of the wheel... squeaking or whatever, as the children heave it about.

Very few film scores come close to the majesty of this. It is a shame.

No one seems to understand what Milius (and Poledouris) did with this film. They might have not created the most accurate portrait of Conan in film, but they created a movie for men in the spiritual sense of the word "man".

This got to be the best workout music ever I been using these sounds and it goes along well with body suffering.

Conan got a degree in "human-powered mill". That's renewable energy for you! Such a modern movie for promoting that in the eighties already. (Poor) joking aside, this movie's soundtrack is, pretty much, second to none.
