I hope you enjoy my list, of course you could always change the order but I think we can all agree these are some of the greatest Fall Classic moments.

That bumgarner performance is just unreal. That guy has no pulse to be able to stay so chill while doing that.

The 2011 season was truly magical for us Cardinal fans. Not something I will easily forget.
  • Glad you put the White Sox's WS run in '05. People love to talk about the Cubs(108 years) and the Red Sox(86 years) ending their droughts, but let's not forget that the White Sox ended an 88 year title drought that season

As a 3rd generation Cards fan (at 40 yrs old), #1 still gives me goosebumps. I think a lot of us counted them out several times during that game but they showed their true colors. Arguably one of the greatest WS of all times. My first son was born in ‘06 and was 7 months old during this WS. I will always remember my dad picking him up and dancing when Waino recorded the final K in game 7. Great, great memories. GO CARDS!!! And one more add... just think what Joe Buck felt calling game 6 and being able to quote his great father from the 1991 series. He just added his own little twist. Great vid EXE

The cardinals one always gives me goosebumps, I remember watching it, probably in my opinion the greatest baseball moments ever

That game 6 for the Cards was epic! “They just won’t go away!”. Absolute classic moment when they tied it at 9-9.

David Freese May not be remembered for his special ability as a ball player, but that one special moment will be locked into every baseball fans memory for all of baseball.
  • @brad-corfman
Kansas City fans be like, "If Gordon was Billy Hamilton, this game is tied."
  • @Nivory
You can tell how much better Joe Buck has gotten in this vid. In all the old clips he doesnt get excited enough but he gets hyped in the more recent ones.

For me, the greatest World Series moment/s was games 4 and 5 of the 2001 World Series. A month after 9/11, two straight two out two run game tying home runs in the ninth in front of a crowd in the Bronx that desperately needed something to cheer about. I’m a die hard Red Sox fan but those two nights were two of the more meaningful occurrences in history.

As a cubs fan since the Sosa grace days nothing will replace them winning it all to me. And as someone who hated the Astros from their killer Bs time, I gotta admit their World Series war with the dodgers was one of the greatest sports events I’ve ever witnessed
  • @Seanster_94
Glad you included the Game 6 comeback by the Angels....that world series always seems to get overlooked yet it was one of the best back and forth series in recent memory

Love your # 1. down to their last strike twice but still pulled off a win. Most batters would go down quietly but Berkman and Freese became Cardinal legends that night. I’m a cards fan who lived near Arlington, TX at the time. Thought Hamilton would go down as a Texas hero but some Card legends were made that night.

I remember I was in bed when Fresse hit the triple. My parents were screaming and I came out and watched the rest of the game. Best baseball game ever
  • As a cardinals fan, I cannot remember one moment in my life that made me feel the way game 6 did. There are just no words.
  • As a red sox fan you know what my personal favorites are (I have 4). But as a baseball fan, the 2001 WS was the best I saw until 2016. That was an amazing game 7.

In an era where starters simply can’t hack it in the postseason anymore, Bumgarners performance is that much more insane. Guys like Kershaw, Sale, Scherzer, Kluber, and plenty of others just couldn’t dream of what Bum did that year.

The Angels rallying in the 8th in the 2002 WS was pretty legendary. They did something similar to this in the NLDS against the Yanks, except with A LOT of RBI’s. But basically this game saved their WS championship.
