In regards to the vid at 14:35, the reason for no gloves is actually an OSHA thing. Gloves can get caught and pull finger/ hand into drums, its actually safer without gloves. I work in Manufacturing, and my specific job requires an Impact, having personally felt what its like to almost dislocate my middle finger when my glove got caught in the impact socket. My boss and Safety Coordinator both agree that its safer for me to not wear gloves, even our one drill press has signage that says "NO GLOVES" as a buddy of mine almost got pulled into the drill bit when drilling some material. Sometimes, its just safer to not wear gloves, and deal with dirty hands, vs a trip to the ER for some hand related issue due to a glove getting bound up in a spinning object.
