The sun is out, the restored Farmall Super C is running great, and I have 11 acres of hay to rake. Could the day be any more perfect?

Raking hay with the Farmall C takes me right back to my childhood. The sound of that engine working was always music to my ears. Your channel is a breath of fresh air in this busy high tech world. Thanks Pete!
  • Jay Leno, eat your heart! A ‘garage’ full of tractors and they all run! Oh, and a tractor for every implement at hay time ….. heaven!!
  • I was raised on a 120 acre dairy farm in North Central Illinois in the 50's and 60's helping Dad do chores. Used a "H" and rake as my first field experience at 8 years old. Still remember the sights and smells and sounds. Used to bale hay, walk beans and shell corn for farmers in my area. Farming is such a noble occupation. Thanks for your videos. You are living the dream........
  • We use our 1949 Super A to rake. She's old but does the best job for raking. Brutus, our 1972 IH 170 diesel is still the boss for cutting and baling.
  • It was so interesting to see all those close-up/far-off perspectives, from the camera hiding in the dry grass to the aerial shots of you working the fields. Really great camera work! It enhances the story you are sharing immeasurably!

I don't know what's so fascinating that makes me sit here and enjoy watching you rake hay for 20 minutes. But it's definitely something peaceful to watch.

Pete, love the videos - thank you for sharing. It is fantastic to see the way you work your land and work with your animals. You bring a lot of joy to a lot of people. Much appreciated. Cheers.

Pete, Beautiful restoration on all the tractors you have completed. I don't know anything about any of them but watching your restoration is such a fun activity. The tractor photos at the end were spectacular...Thank you for taking us along.
  • Pete, that Super C is a true work of art. And she purrs like a happy kitten. And your drone video work is awesome. Thanks for sharing with us. BTW, farmers suffer a high incidence of skin cancer on their nose, ears and back of the neck. Your hat makes perfect sense for your protection. God bless.
  • I really enjoyed watching you rake hay. I suffer from chronic sciatic pain and it was particularly bad all night, but your video helped distract my mind this morning. Thank you.
  • I love the drone footage segments... Especially when the drone captures its own shadow! Wonderful land, beautiful equipment - There's absolutely nothing not to love about these videos!
  • Love it out on the tractor. To hear the rake and hay. Just a joy. Thanks again.
  • Who would have ever thought about watching a guy rake his hay fields could make for such entertainment 😊. Thanks for sharing Pete! I along with so many others really appreciate you, and your sense of humor and the kind of no nonsense approach to farming and life. Oh yeah didn't want forget mentioning how amazing all the hard work that you put into the maintenance and upkeep of those farm tractors is paying off and they really do look amazing 🤩. keep up the good work 💪

I'm not sure if this is my 3rd or 4th year watching Pete but I do remember there was a barn of old tractors and to see them refurbished all red and shiny make my heart full of joy.
  • I can define a good day. A blue sky, the smell of hay and engine oil from a working Farmall C in front of a four bar rake and an compliment from my grandfather after he finishes bailing on the good job you did raking.

Good morning from Ithaca Michigan. I just love how wonderful your tractors look after you redo them.
  • Everything about your videos right down to the sound of the old Farmall’s reminds me of growing up in our old farm.
  • I think it is wonderful that all the tractors started. it appeared that you didn't have any problems with them. The hat is a very wise choice, Pete. You aren't out there for a beauty contest!
