Well done, Michel! Surprisingly accurate over a range. Enjoyed watching.
  • There's that "Where there is a will, there is a way" problem-solving again. The micrometer turned out great and looks good as well. Thanks for the shout-out, I'm honoured to take a spot on your old door. 👍

Great work, Michel. We'll make a woodworker out of you yet! Worm gears always seem a bit scary, but you seem to have it under control. Regards, Preso

The coolest micrometer on youtube 💪 plus it's works and is accurate 👍 Love the worm gear cutter! The backwards numbering is a bonus feature to prevent reversing engineering of classified projects..

Very cool tool Michel. I always like the history behind the tools. Great video and it works.

It took me a bit of time to figure out what you were doing with the gear cutter but then I realised it was inspired work, using a tap tooth to cut a spur gear instead of using a small circular involute cutter. Brill.

Wow. . I followed very carefully how you created the worm gear and your solution and I got LOST. . But after you created the worm gear then I realized what you did. . Incredible job you did. Spectacular job. Amazing how exact it is and it's manual. Just amazing. .
