Agressive Mei! Overwatch 2 Gameplay

Hey i’m serotonin, Top 500 Mei main back in the prior Overwatch 1 season, now i’m planning to do it all again for Overwatch 2. You did good and seems like you understand her pretty well. Some critiques I do want to give are three fundamental things i’d say are important for Mei players. 1. (Flanking to kill SUPPORT/Snipers) Understanding the map and looking at positions of enemies is very important and can help benefit a sneaky sneak. Even sometimes going as far as to slip through the enemy push it’s self and applying necessary pressure. 2. (Mei’s icicles) It is absolutely crucial that you perfect Mei’s icicles (right click). Taking into account that it is a two shot head shot to kill 150-225 characters, she can two shot 70% of the overwatch roster. Predicting and reading enemy movements on the account of (Prior encounters) and (the hero they play). 3. FINAL: (Be aware of your team’s composition/position) As a mei you will have moments where you need to become a support defender. Then times where you need to be the shield. Mei has the ability to cancel out 50% of the ultimates in the game. Both her cube and wall can shield your team from dva bombs, hog spreads, ect. Doing just the smallest of details can easily turn you into a team MVP. I’m an OG OW player and I love the Mei changes. I was iffy about it before, but I think it’s a good change. She does even more damage now

As someone whose only played Mei in overwatch 2, I can’t even imagine how insanely OP her primary freeze ability was. Like I think she’s annoying to play against right now so I can only imagine how bad it was in OW1.

After taking away mei’s freeze it should be called dpswatch if you don’t pick a dps then you’re not gonna win

As a main Mei I like the new Mei, but I feel like I will always miss the old Mei:(

Great games! I have to say I have to give you my respects. As someone who has always played on PC, you are very accurate with those shots on a controller. I couldn't... My aim is horrible with the joysticks.
