Did you guys notice the new style? We wanted to add more of our personality into this one, and finally adding sound FX to our videos! YAY. Let us know what you thought :)

4:38 is where the 2-min technique is, for those going insane with insomnia and who've heard the same tips as here 1,000+ times before. Lifelong insomniac here: I find that reverse-psychology helps me more than meditating (and saying "don't think" on repeat as suggested here - that really will drive me crazy tbh.) I use podcasts, something I'm interested in but nothing too chatty / laughy / entertaining - something long and a bit academic. Volume not too soft (I don't know why, but slightly louder seems to work). Relax like you're going to sleep, but pay attention to the podcast. It's like attaching your mind to something irrelevant to whatever worries you're having. You're then trying to stay awake... which will ironically set you off to sleep.

Steps that actually worked for me! 1. Don't care if you sleep or not 2. Move more until finding a comfortable position to sleep 3. Don't overthink just stay chill

why am i getting this. i needed this video 2 years ago man

I like to shower, do my before bed routines, play the ukulele for a bit. Help my self relax, drink some water and think of nothing. Then, I’d turn on a podcast I like, and listen to it. I imagine my self on a hammock on a beach with my friends. I stretch and tighten my muscles, and let them relax. I sort of have this tingly, sinking feeling in my core. This helps me fall asleep very quick.

1; get a brick 2; throw it upwards 3; wait 3 seconds 4; success

This feels so damn relatable. Sometimes during the night, I even used to calculate the number of seconds remaining for me to sleep.
