To think for quite some time the only one beating Feliks Zemdegs' world records was Feliks Zemdegs himself

I'm happy about Valk's 5.55 record coz QiYi based a cube size off of that.

Felix, back in 2013, was the reason I got into speedcubing. I remember sitting in my 7th grade class and my English teacher showing the class Felix's world record video. I didn't know about speedcubing until that day. My first speedcubing battle was between me and another kid during lunch that 7th grade year. I got 32 seconds, and he got 38 seconds.

For me My mind is taken back to Mats 5.55 whenever I think of the WR. I remember 11 year old me in January 2015 in awe watching that solve as it was the WR when I started cubing, and even now whenever I see a solve faster than 5.55 I think about how far the record has come. Crazy to think just how many times that time is broken in 2023 but just 8 years ago there was no solve faster.

Thank you for not mistaking me with Lars Vandenbergh like literally every other world record history video out there :D (However, it was on August 24th and I believe Dan's record was too)
