Funny thing is, after doing sound design for Star Wars, Ben Burtt never wanted to do a movie with robots in it ever again. Until Pixar told him about Wall E (even recorded more sounds for wall e than for Star wars). Really shows how spectacular this movie is

Remember, if Disney copyright claims this, everything in the video becomes canon

3:32 where the security bots started spamming and shaking the screen was the funniest shit to me for some reason
  • @Ever_2008_ARG
The fact that Cas was able to bend the laws of physics and make noise in space is incredible on it's own
  • @FXXTRN
Wall-E has been my favorite movie growing up and just seeing this made my day
  • @WeegeepieYT
Thanks so much for this, WALL E is a huge part of my childhood and is still to this day my favorite movie ever
  • @ComicalRealm
Fun fact: The average number of storyboards used on a Pixar film is 75,000. For WALL·E (2008), it was 125,000.

The way you draw WALL-E is so adorable! Also, the ending was SO dark, I LOVE it!

Just finished re-watching WALL-E last week and I'm so happy that Cas gave us this.
  • I love how he emphasizes the "Not for kids" in every episode by having a scene of extreme violence every time
  • @glowkirby
The fact that wall-e is currently the only Pixar movie to be in the criterion collection brings me unbridled joy
  • 4:00 the funny thing about that ending is the fact that actually happens in the movie but instead of a robot lawnmower running it over it was a baby drowning the plant
  • @Gatlinggunman
Disney was all like: "Hey, romcoms seem to be back in style, how can we bank on that?" Then Pixar was all like: "We won't just give you a romcom, we'll animate the best romcom/robot/post-apocalyptic dystopia that ever will be."
  • FUN FACT: The animation in the credits was added in because test audiences thought that the humans wouldn't be able to survive
  • Okay legit though, that animation of Wall-e falling in love with Eve was actually adorable af
  • Wall-E is one of those films that watching it now hits pretty hard... but gosh darn this re-cap had me dying of laughter
