With the passing away of Umer Sharif another chapter of happy childhood memories comes to an end. Remember mom getting his VHS tapes on rent for Rs 10 and filling our days with pure joy and laughter. I can proudly claim to have watched all his comedy plays from early 90's and vividly remember his fantastic one-liners, his quick wit, his sarcasm, and his exceptional dialogue delivery and charm. His acting, his comic timing, even his dance moves were so brilliant that they sadly overshadowed his writing brilliance. Most of his plays were written by himself, the dialogues were improvised on stage and he singlehandedly stole the show every time. Remember the long applause and clapping everytime he made an entry on stage The man was just too brilliant. A Giant. A Legend. Infact I truly believe that he was and he is the greatest comedian, comic writer to have lived in this era. For those like me, growing me in the 90's, he was the Funniest Man Ever and even today when he is not there he will still remain the Funniest Man Ever. Truly an undisputed GOAT (Greatest of all Times) Qiston pe 🙂 Thank you for the memories and Thank you for bringing so much happiness, joy and laughter to my childhood. #umersharif #legend #loveandrespect
