  • Thank you Kenny! Great video! I'll be looking forward to using mine. It looks like a most capable diagnostic tool.

Yup Kenny, be good to know which LAUNCH scanner you were using. ...ooops just watched your SHORT - its LAUNCH X431 CRP919E For any other people asking the same question....

    I love your videos, Kenny!

We have a Launch Scan Pad at work. I like it much better than our Snap On scan tool.
  • 99 one suburban, All my sensors are lifetime warranty so every four years I trade them in for new ones 😁
  • O2 sensors these days can cause some ghost symptoms too. I have an 02 grand Cherokee 4.7ho bought it with spun #8 crank bearing. Had block and bed plate shaved and block line honed has Toyota pistons and shorter heavier rods. I can only run Mopar o2 sensors because the computer won't read other sensor brands for some reason.

Your videos are great Ken!! I have a BlueDriver scanner and it's saying my Mass Air Flow sensor is faulty. Should I trust this? The truck has over 108,000 miles on it and I did clean the sensor and throttle body when I changed the plugs at 100,000 miles. You know the dreaded 5.4 3v. And yes , I used the proper cleaners on the various parts. Can they go bad? The truck has a stumble when I accelerate and I read this could be the problem?
  • That scanner looks pretty capable? On a side note, do you happen to know if the coolant temperature sensor is the actual sensor that determines when the vehicle will enter closed loop? Just asking because my Focus runs like an absolute animal when just started up, and as soon as it enters closed loop, it looses so much power, that it almost feels like a different vehicle, Kenny? Not worried about inspection or that sort of thing in FL, since there is none? It would be sweet to just be able to drive it in open loop, by possibly running a lower temp thermostat, if it is only that one sensor , that controls it? Not sure, that's why I'd ask someone with more experience than, myself?

Can you please make a video about any P0420, and explain it's not a problem with your catalytic convertor, so crackheads quit cutting them off and welding a 50$ universal cat in. I have to fix their motor not running correctly and fix the "rigging". I do not talk to customers for I have NO filter
