gouache paint with me, tiny sketchbook & crochet blanket | ARTIST VLOG

Published 2024-03-09
Hello everyone :)
welcome to another artist vlog in which I try to overcome my artist's block by getting back into the routine of creating on a daily basis (I used my tiny sketchbook for this) but I also turned to other creative hobbies like crocheting (I have this crazy project where I want to crochet a blanket).
I also managed to find the time to paint with gouache which was lovely :)

Thank you so much for being here:)
Have a lovely day or night

  • I love the colour scheme of your 'granny squares' and the fact that there is not time limit on this project , we all need more to enjoy the proces and not the end result because that is what makes us happy . The combination of Young adult books versus 'serious' books brings joy . Great you are back into your sketchbook and 'your personal style will come by itself by filling your sketchbooks 😉 have confident . I wondered which kind of piano pieces you are playing? 😊 Have a lovely week ! 🌺

Oohhh. I love the new colour wool you are introducing into your granny squares. It adds another element of visual interest and just gives it another wee spark without it being overwhelming. Good choice. Loved watching your video. I’m a first timer here, now subscribed. You make me want to start a small jigsaw puzzle too! Looking forward to the next video.

your granny square project reminds me of the lovely dried flowers you purchased, and what a satisfying reccurance of theme! 💐 and i think the way you laid it out worked really well! 😊

Just discovered your channel and it took me back to my 20's when I was single and always had a creative project on the go. Back then writing was my passion but loved doing crafty stuff too. Can't wait to get back into it soon. I also loved your room and the lovely words you said while you were painting that picture. I had to smile when you showed the Winnie the Pooh book you had read - I like anyone who likes Winnie the Pooh and Snoopy! I now follow you on instagram too. I don't post much on mine it's just book reviews of books I've read and they're not what everyone else is reading either.
