Everything NEW in Need for Speed Unbound UPDATE 4!

I'm surprised that they haven't addressed the issue of not getting people to join races and the impact that has on your ability to progress. This is perhaps the one issue that has kept me from playing the game with any regularity because my in-game destiny is reliant upon other players. I'm typically a completionist when it comes to my favorite games, meaning that if I were the master of my own destiny in NFS Unbound, I would grind out every single challenge in order to unlock every single car. Since I'm not permitted to do that... well, I don't. They needed to allow players to run playlists by themselves whenever others are unwilling or unable to join. Whether or not they want to backfill the field with AI racers is a different topic, but without the ability to control how or even if I can complete the established challenges and progress through the game, there's little incentive to keep trying.

Undoubtedly a good update. For Volume 5, i would expect off road playlists with SUVs or cars like Lamborghini Sterrato.

No way in hell they didn't call the gauntlet playlists hot pursuit

Yes, the increase in time between link up events is perfect. Fianlly people will race and do some fun gauntlet events

Yes finally they fix the linkup with 50 minutes break. I'm upset that people just always grind linkups and nobody wants to race.

Thank you for the overview. I definitely think the Gauntlet playlists are going to be my preferred race type going forward, since I love cop interaction (and it reminds me of the excellent HP2010 online feature where you had a 4v4 between cops and racers). All in all, not a bad update but I do hope they press on and don't let themselves be dominated by TCM because I really love this game's sense of style and feeling, the cars just sound right and the visuals are buttery smooth and gorgeous even compared to TCM on the PS5's performance mode.

I have a feeling in all future NFS games you will be able to get certain cars if you played the before tittles. Seems like the update might please the community.

Cannot wait for The Crew Motorfest to make me forget this NFS. Everytime I play NFS Unbound I feel like it’s NFS Heat all over again (which I played 100+ hours), so then switch over to the weekly Forza Horizon 5 season playlist or to The Crew 2 motorpass… Hopefully the NFS Most Wanted Remake 2025 won’t let us down.

Question: Will you be extending the battles to Motorfest? My friends and I loved NFS but we all moved on to The Crew 2 after being disappointed and now we are fully invested in the new Crew.

I was looking forward to the Porsche playlist, since I have a full garage of Porsches. Only rentals seems really weird to me. So instead of this becoming my new favorite playlist it's just going to be something I do three times and then never touch...

I'm Still watching these to see if there's any sliver of hope left at all that this franchise could get saved...so far...nope

The fact that they release bodykits as DLC is dumb. In payback, the DLC were cars not included in the game and same in HEAT with F1.

Are those simple one-color turbofan wheels on the legendary 911 and lotus available to put on any car?

Yay for spawn rate on link ups. Now we can race again in a racing game. I'm not a fan of link ups ready to race. Decent update but still no aux fix😢
