Never would I have thought that I would be playing as the daughter of someone I brutally murdered while saving my robot friend

The fact viper just casually jumps out of a jet about 100 feet in the air without a chute and lands on a big piece of metal just shows why he's an Apex Predator

Viper is almost the only Apex Predator worthy of any kind of respect or admiration since he's a professional, not a deranged war criminal. Giving him a daughter and a wife, and showing the effect his death had on them, really fleshes him out from the faceless badass he is in Titanfall 2 when Jack and BT encounter him. Immediately makes Valkyrie a highly relatable Legend too, which I appreciate. The fact that when he grabs the falling Titan he ignores her pleas, immediately punches her out of the cockpit, and then looks until he sees her chute open before trying to save himself is such a beautiful detail. Oh, and the animation is beautiful, sometimes I rewatch this for the feels and sometimes just for the visuals. Great writing too, for a simple story the three central characters are very well fleshed out.

Valkyrie: you took everything from me Cooper: I don’t even know who you are

"He died because of you!" Cooper: Yes, He did that. I saw it with my own eyes.

“If vengeance is all you look for go and take it. But if you pull that trigger, your story ends.” that line is 👌

"Pilot. That word used to mean something." Accurate. We went from neural links and augmentations to just highly trained grunts.

"He died because of you." *Jack Cooper and BT, "Yeah it was him, all him."

Valk: "My father died because of you!" Cooper: "Yea Blisk, I can't believe you would do such a thing!"

Pilots really were something else. I've played Apex for a long time before I finally tried Titanfall 2's multiplayer. Legend does not come close to a pilot

I like how the way he tells her he won’t let her become a pilot is more “It’s too dangerous and I don’t want you to die.” than “You’ll never be able to fly a titan.”

Valkyrie: You killed my father! Cooper: Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down

Never imagined that Viper would have a mustache.

I love that the Militia fleet are using faction accurate ships like Crows and the Redeye. One of them had the callsign Misfit-4: Misfit was the name for the Militia ship (callsign Misfit-2) that got shot down in the beginning of Demeter in Titanfall 1, AKA the ship that was meant to deploy you. Really cool that they kept the naming schemes

The fact that Viper jumped out of a high-speed craft with just his combat gear and no parachute then somehow landing on a flying hunk of metal just shows how he earned the title of Apex Predator. Then hours later the dude tore apart an entire fleet with no hits. Then he got vibe checked by Saucy Jack Cooper

Hears 4:26 Apex Players: Wow, that’s a cool sound effect! Titanfall 2 players: starts sweating

I actually found it kind of funny when she shoots the missiles and the other pilot just casually sends two missiles in retaliation and knocks her out of the air easily, it just shows that even though she could pilot the robot she wasn't close to the skill level of an actual pilot
