I’m in tears. I got the warmest feeling listening to Kelly’s mom talk about why she became a teacher. I’ve had terribly mean teachers, my children have had awful teachers. We need more teachers that want to inspire, that understand all children are different and that want kids to want to learn! I wish I could hug her right now.

i like the fact that show has a level of humility and warmth to it. i like to hear people stories not just celebrities because it breaks this barrier of hierarchy and privilege, it pushes the idea that every single individual has story to tell whether your famous or not. your story is as important as the story well known. that's what makes me wanna see the show. It's wonderful to see teachers who are genuine about their students' learning and academic experience. Too many don't, which is a shame
