Thank you for this movie. As a child losing my mother at a young age, this movie explains you can move forward even though you feel dark inside. It takes a brave kid to see their is still life ahead of them. You did a great job explaining the delima and strugle within. Thank you.

I know some are disappointed that this is actually not the action-packed movie that they were expecting. But movie-wise and story, I can tell you this is one of the underrated movies I've seen so far. I am suggesting this movie to people who enjoyed not just action but the meaning itself.

The writer for the original comic worked super hard to adapt it into a film and has been working on it for a while. Even if the film wasn't the best I admire his effort and think the comic was a well balanced story that had a beautifully written ending.

The Problem Here is that people expect an Action movie and the Trailer promises an Action movie too. The actual movie is more of an Family Drama, it's about loss, fear and death and lets a Lot of space for Interpretation. So its a great movie, but the Trailer is very misleading and creates wrong expectations Now Enjoy the movie, but dont expect an Action Firework

I went into this movie for a campy fantasy about a badass giant-slaying girl who protects her town. But damn, I didn’t expect to be balling my eyes out in the last twenty minutes. Kinda reminds me of A Monster Calls.
