So many song only talk about his fun/quirky side, but deep down he’s been battling his trauma silently for so long. I thought having this different perspective on him would serve the character well, because it’s the same type of things I was dealing with when I wrote this back in 2021. I hope you like it

When I first heard this in 2021 I’d never pictured to match Angel Dust character, but looking at the lyrics along with the scene makes a lot of sense now.
