The new Skyrim mod list for 2024! This is a work in progress for Skyrim Special Edition and Skyrim Anniversary Edition gameplay, and we will continue to update it until The Elder Scrolls 6 releases and beyond!

NOTE: Currently the 2024 Skyrim Modlist won't work with the new paid creations (still works with creations club content), this is due to Bethesda's last Skyrim update, which they plan to fix early this year (according to a post on their official Discord). Currently If you want to use this mod list you must disable achievements and uninstall all the creations from your game until Bethesda fix it. Once fixed the paid creations will work alongside this mod list.

I just want to take a minute to appreciate the fact that it’s 2024 and we are starting the year with a Skyrim video, amazing!

I'm so stoked for this! I installed your last modlist and it was stress free so I can't wait for this one! Thanks ESO!

If I could have all these mods on my Xbox to make the game look this good, then I'd definitely be playing this a lot more. Looks absolutely beautiful
  • The parallax textures are quite welcome out of everything displayed here in this demo. Then there is jarring changes like Camilla or Jenassa being completely unrecognizable with copious amounts of make up on them while Hod has the same old vanilla face. The textures from parallax are such a joy to look at.

When mods for your 8 year old game look better than your newest game, you know you done..

Thank you Danny, I'm looking forward to your modding tutorial videos. I'm late to the Skyrim modding world and I appreciate the help. Plus I'm a fan of your videos so it'll be nice to see Tamriel as you do.
  • OMG THIS IS LIFE CHANGINGLY AWESOME. YOU ARE TRULY A MAN, A WARRIOR, AN ARTIST, nay A MASTER OF LIFE MY FRIEND.

Good deal, man. Thanks for updating your mod list. I've tried just about everything I could think of to get it to work since the update. I, literally, just gave up, today, so that's a very good deal that you're updating how to do it. 👍👍

ESO coming in clutch. Been wanting to get into Skyrim again with the only thing stopping me is the daunting amount of mods and time finding good ones that I want and installing them. Thanks for uploading at the PERFECT time!

Thank you ESO!! Playing Skyrim without my fav mods has been rough… I rough it out whilst on my Switch, but on my pc I shouldn’t have to. Looking forward to the mod installation guide, I love watching install guides for mods, so thanks for thinking to do that. :)
  • Happy New Year Battlebrothers. Man I can't wait for the updated modlist. Spent the last month stiching together a working modded skyrim, with some flaws. I was especially torn between parallax and non-parallaxed, so I will be interested which textures/meshes you guys implemented. Everything is working again after the update🎉 however I am not really going to play the paid mods, even some might be nice, like the imperial trading company one you showcased.

I really like these mod lists which hides the age of Skyrim. Very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, in my experience, there are usually 2 major issues with these. The first is stability. Very annoying having CTD's all the time. The second is the thinking behind many of the mods in the mod packs. It is the Hollywood way, where improvement = more!. If you want to improve on something, you just add more stuff to it, instead of improving the core which is already there. In Skyrim terms this usually means much more foliage in the forests, many new npc's, many new shops and stuff on the ground. It changes the harsh barren landscape of Skyrim into tropical forests. The small towns of hard working people, where everything and everyone has its place and story, into New York in rush hour, where the AI pathing gets overcrowded, 95% is just there for show and you can't interact with most of it. In the unmodded Skyrim, if you saw something cool on a shelf in a shop, you could return later that night an try to steal it. If it was there, you could interact with it. With the mods, most is just for show, and you have to scan through all the visible stuff just to find the one or two items which you actually can interact with. It is not that just adding more and more stuff is a bad thing. Some people like that. I am just not one of them. However I REALLY appreciate the effort put into these mod packs. If any of you know of a relatively stable mod pack, which improves Skyrim with up to date graphics, improved combat and so on, but still keep Skyrim the harsh, poor, and sparsely populated land it should be, please let me know 🙂 (yes I know I could sift through all the mods myself and create my own mod pack. I tried that, and it simply took too much effort and time than I have for gaming)
