  • Taker having his first match against Bruiser Brody is still crazy to me. Talk about a debut.

The best thing about Taker's podcast is that he corrects things that have been wrongly said about him. He did not appear in the media or in interviews to correct these matters. For example, there were rumors that Taker hated CM Punk which he denied. He even said he was proud of his match at WrestleMania 29.

Mark took great pride in being safe in the ring and I understand why he would take exception to any silly accusations like that.

0:10 was the moment Taker realized he needs to hang out with Maven more from now on

“This is why we’re professionals and you’re a mark” is something that needs to be said by wrestlers more often lmao

Cornette has always said he'd rather take a chairshot (or tombstone) from 'taker than most of the high spot moves that they now do on a regular basis on TV.

Maven still have a chance to win the 2002 Royal Rumble after 22 years later. He was thrown out through the second-rope by Taker. He just need to find Triple H continue the match.

I always thought Maven was a tool, but he's grown on me post-career. His whole attitude on the business and his career is refreshing.

The shots Taker received from his feuds with Randy Orton were also brutal, like his feuds with Mick Foley and Brock Lesnar in 2002 and 2003, and I don't think Taker targeted him. The point is that in that era, the mentality and level of safety were different than now.

This really needs to be the new podcast these three have some magic chemistry
  • Glad Taker cleared it up. He always delivered the best chair shots.
  • "That's why we are professionals and you are a mark." That line sums up wrestling. Great statement
  • @nickm724
Maven looks like he would make an excellent mime
  • @SubZero_125
To this day koko still have nightmares of that tombstone
  • The Kanyon thing was more so credited to VKM putting him in the position to get blasted by Taker.

I wanna see Maven back in WWE as a manager/commentator/interviewer… just something! He has a lot to offer ❤
