Why most company's don't put a sharp edge on hatchets and axes beats me. Thats why I bought a Fiskars hatchet and camp axe. they came sharp, And had a decent price.

Fiskars for me, thanks. The only good deW tool I’ve ever used is my 20 something year old 4 inch angle grinder which I run 5 inch discs on. I’ve had much better luck with other brands.

Im looking at the Husqvarna wooden handled axe, supposedly the heads are sweedish steel subcontracted out to a generally more expensive brand.
