I love Freddie Mercury, but I truly believe Steve has the best voice ever.

No one will ever come close to being as talented as Steve Perry.  Truly a God-given talent.

4:15 on the timer. Seriously! He sang that note. It's incredible that a guy could reach a note that high and carry it like it was second nature. It was ethereal. Beautiful song.

That voice is indescribable. He cannot be replicated, no matter how much Schon tries.

Steve Perry not only has the greatest voice ever but he is also one of the greatest performers ever to take a stage, he sounds better in person than on his cd's, and that is very very rare for any performer STEVE PERRY is the greatest ever!!!

what made Perry a notch above other good rock singers, is that he wasn't a smoker and he kept his drinking under moderation.

Steve Perry does not need the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to validate him as a legend. He will always be "The Voice".

Dear Journey Fans, If you ever encounter people knocking Journey or Steve Perry this is the video to present them with. If after seeing that man sing like that they don't admit defeat, they are lying. It is so rare that a thing as subjective as music has something lying within itself that is inarguably perfect.

The very best version of wheel in the sky....the connection between Steve P. and neal was absolutely fantastic...i never see arnel and neal had that kind of understanding...arnel is a very good singer..but steve perry put his heart and soul to this band..plus his voice is amazing..truly a blessed one..that’s why he’s irreplaceable...

Steves voice is out of this world. They nailed it on this song with more of that rock n roll sound n speed, along with one the best vocals in history

The intro to this song is absolutely awesome. the clarity and control of the notes are perfection

This is Journey at the peak of their powers. Yeah, I know they had a bigger commercial run when Cain replaced Rollie at keyboards, but Christ this line-up from around 78-80 was just fucking tight as tight can be. Perry and Rollie trading off on vocals, and Schon absolutely killing it on lead guitar, yep this is Journey's A-team.

Always been my favorite Journey song. This is Journey at their absolute best. Perry's voice is just ridiculous.
