Am I the only one who could smell this video? This ride always had a very distinct smell that brings back good memories.

Pirates and the Haunted house were my favorites as a kid. Adventure through inner space and Mr. toads wild ride were always on our list as kids and running around on Tom Sawer Island. The earliest I can remember being at Disneyland was 1973-74

I remember as a kid (mid 70's) this was the E ticket ride to go on! How many remember A B C D E tickets? LOL, probably not many :)

I remember as a little one back around 1974, the disappointment that the top of that lift hill was the end of the ride, and not another drop.

I rode Pirates on high school grad night in June 1967. It was amazing.

I absolutely love this ride and it is my favorite by far. Stunning animatronic scenes, beautiful caves, lights and even the scent of the water. Not to mention that it's just a calming ride with the two drops mixed in.

I remember going on this ride as a kid in the 1970’s and then taking my children on it 25 years later. It never gets old.

Well done! Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite Disneyland ride, and it's gotten much better over the years. This video is by far the closest thing to actually being there.

I went to Disney land almost 55 years ago and I still remember this ride. I loved it! Though, as an adult I find the repeated "upbeat" version of the song, especially during the darker parts a bit annoying.
