This video is based on Katie and Matteo's experience of the differences between living in Milan and abroad. A huge grazie to the waiters who acted in this video, we had a lot of fun making it! Of course, if you go to their restaurants in real life, they will serve you whatever you like š To Italians who bend these rules, we salute you.

Iām Italian why am I watching this
-
-
"14 things you should never do in Italy" 12 of those 14 things are about eating. As an Italian, that seems about right.
-
"Sharing a pizza causes us extreme suffering" I am going to really enjoy vacationing there; these are my kind of people.
-
-
Another thing, most Italians have never seen a mandolin
-

Iām Brazilian and this video was SOOO much fun to watch! Canāt wait to visit Italy next year and now Iām sure what NOT to do š Iāve already studied with Easy French videos and had no idea there were other languages as well! This Easy Italian simply popped on my feed and Iām very thankful ā¤ļø If you ever need someone to do Easy - Brazilian - Portuguese, Iād be honored āØ

I would seriously watch an entire series dedicated to Janusz ordering food in every Easy Langauge podcast country.
-
I'm italian but i never met someone who doesnt like to share pizza, imo it's a must
-
-
And the most important thing and i am telling you as an italianā¦never refer in ANY way about the mandolin stereotype or the meatballs on pasta. The italians would never put meatballs on pasta and the mandolin is not used by modern italians since the 50 i think.
-
I'd liko to add this to the list: asking friends a bit of their food to taste is totally ok, especially if you offer a bit of yours as an "exchange", but is generally considered rude to ask the first or the last bit of the meal.
-

When learning Italien in Italy I asked the teacher how they "survived" with a breakfast made of only coffe and cake - we eat it twice before lunch she said.
