A song I wrote a while back. Becoming better in life depends on other people a lot of the time. As it says in Proverbs, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Through darkness and difficulty in life, situations tend to feel painful. Yet just as it requires heating metal to a high temperature to harden it and friction to sharpen it, the trials, tribulations and all momentary afflictions are actually sharpening us to battle future challenges.
