Digimon Savers OP 2 [FULL] Hirari

[UPDATE] After 9 years, and a number of comments stating that the captions bring out a string of random codes (because 10-year old me tried to add captions back then), I've finally added romaji subtitles to this song so ya'll can sing along. If anyone wants me to add english subs or add subs to the first OP as well, just reply to this comment and I'll add the subs in another 9 years. (Just kidding!) I come back to this song for nostalgic reasons sometimes and I'm sure most of you do too. Digimon isn't that popular anymore and nothing that's being made right now is introducing this wonderful series for new fans. I know there's the ongoing Digimon Adventure reboot. If anyone knows any active community for Digimon's shows or video games on reddit or anything do tell me. I might want to get back to being a fan of this series. :D

I love how Yoshi's partner is a a flying chibi ghost flower that turns into a flying sunflower with a dinosaur mouth.

They didn't "change" his evolutions, they simply gave this Agumon an alternate line. Digimon don't have fixed evolution lines, just look at the card game or the v-pets to see how crazy they can get.

Honestly, Digimon Savers is very unique and also very traditional. Adventure introduced Digimon, the concept about the Digital World, and the evolutions. Adventure 02 showed us Armor evolutions and DNA/Fusions as well as two human antagonist that eventually become good. (Tamers) Season 3 flipped the whole thing around and made Adventure/02 in a game/show like we see it ourselves. The cards are used for power-ups and Digimon cross over into the 'real' world to become stronger or are just lost. Not to mention it introduces a new Digital World and Bio-merge/Matrix evolutions that combines Digimon with their human partner. In addition to being darker than the previous seasons. (Fontier) Season 4 Ran with the whole humans merging with Digimon but this time they made it so that the Digimon have no agency (For the most part) and are simply spirits that the humans are able to use to stop the evil in the Digital World. There is no human antagonist and seems fairly traditional when compared to the seasons before it. Though it make the argument that Darkness is not necessarily evil and Light isn't always good. (Savers) Season 5 is my favorite artistically. The change in animation style is refreshing and the older cast of 3 was appropriate for those who had grown up watching the show were of similar age. It follows the traditional line of the weekly bad Digimon being defeated at first but changes when a true human villain shows up, then uses a darker version of the Bio-merge/matrix evolution from Tamers, and then has the guardians of the Digital World as the enemies. The final villain that makes his debut when the guardians appear is also great. I won't mention Xros Wars because I don't remember it enough to describe it. I remember that being the season I only watched once after seeing the censorship and the dub. I am sleep deprived so please excuse any typos.

I'm a digimon fan but there's only 1 thing that makes me sad:where I live...people don't know anything about digimon

I don't get why people hated this chapter of digimon... i mean ok it started slow but the more episodes it got better and better

tbh this is my fav digimon series, the most epic scene in the entire digimon series when shinegreymon evolves into burst mode the first time, also this is the only season that brings almost every royal knight

i loved savers :D the best part was the fact that the humans actually could do something >.> well Daimon especially XD and heck i've seen him punch down a row of mega level digimon

This opening is amazing. I miss this series. Pure nostalgia. I also came from Smash King and Super Smash Adventures.

Ah Savers! You were a slow starter but once I hit ep 12, I couldn't get enough. Kurata is among the best Digimon villains second only to Lucemon and DarkKnightmon. The music was top notch, BELIEVER AND HIRARI FTW. The battles were good, the Digimon designs were good and really how can you call a season that had all the Royal Knights in it (well except Alphamon for obvious reasons). Belphemon made for a surprisingly good battle was on the edge of my seat. RAVEMON AND BURST MODE FTW. That is all.

Ah yes, the first season to have a second opening, and it was awesome.

Savers was basically Tamers for teens. and that makes it awesome. Captain Masaru Punch!

it has royal nights (not all of them) it has many digimon that apeared in the past and lets not forget Kouji Wada who made most of the amazing songs for digimon
