I forgot to post back here: I eventually discovered others having similar problems due to noisy power supply causing problems with the SD card SPI lines. I put big ferrite beads on the lines exiting the PS plus on the ribbons both at the LCD panel and RAMBo Mini and issue was resolved (no thanks to Prusa Research)

Mine does the same thing. Built the kit mid December. I have printed 30 things, and it has happened 2 times. Curious if you are using Slic3r? Are you using more than 1 SD card, and if so, is it with the same card?
