Welcome to our village channel, where a Family restores an abandoned house in a small forest village. We don’t have any amenities, and the only source of heat is the stove.
We had already cleaned the old plaster from the walls, but the wood in the second room was not in the best condition; They were eaten by a bark beetle.
A lot of snow fell, and we had to clear paths into the forest so that not only us, but also stray cats could walk comfortably.
For dinner we cooked pancakes on the wood stove. Although the environment is still dirty, we had a delicious and fun dinner.

Hallo Alexander und Olesya. Jetzt versuche ich nochmal zu schreiben,da mein ganzer Text irgendwie verloren ging. Da habt ihr ja noch viel Arbeit vor euch. Aber ihr schafft das und dann könnt ihr es euch im Sommer richtig gemütlich machen. Warum nehmt ihr denn zum Wasser erwärmen nicht einen Wasserkessel und stellt ihn auf den Ofen? Writing from Colorado this winter's day. I wish you would take a few minutes to install a shelf under outdoor tabletop beside door...just for the kitties, to keep them out of weather as they wait (impatiently?) for their meal. My own two are terribly spoiled...ceramic heat bulbs in our shed for them. Enjoy watching your progress on cabin.
