I believe this probably is a cry for help

As a fast food worker, this is 100% accurate.

Not entirely related but some words of advice for novice workers. If you don’t want to advance in the career you are in for whatever reason like you work at a gas station in high school. DON’T EVER go out of your way to stand out or go the extra mile that isn’t needed. DON’T EVER be a garbage worker either, do exactly what is stated in the job description you were given. If you stand out it will be EXPECTED from you, such as covering shifts, or staying late. NEVER make a mess for co-workers and maintain a bare minimum positive relationship. Your life will be easy and you will never be expected to kill yourself for others. DO NOT follow this advice if you want a promotion however, this is to maintain a work life balance and not boost your career.

As the lazy coworker, I can confirm unironically that I've fallen asleep at work.

I know that we joke that these slander videos are 100% correct, but this one is by far the most accurate slander video to the point where it is almost depressing.

As a 21 year old college student who never had a real job I can say that this is 100% theoretically probably true

0:28 made me actually cry, i'm 38 years-old now used to be in the military still cried at that sight. At some point in my life, back when i was a teenager. I was homeless, used to beg for some food behind restaurants or diners. Used to sleep in shelters while washing cars for a few bucks to a point where i had enough money for a small rundown apartment. My friend owned he let me use it for $100 a month, as long as i clean the hallway. And after i graduated highschool, tried for the military got accepted and now living a good life.😢 Whenever i see people like this on the streets as long as i have something to share I'd share it with them may it be money food or some clothes i don't use anymore. Cause i was in the position she was in. I know that the kid in this video is fictional, But it hurts to see how real this is. People look down on you. Treated like trash despite not knowing what you went through. That, that just sickening and painful! I know how it feels to have nothing, and be nothing. I know this video is meant to be funny, but i...i just had a flashback sorry for ruining the mood.

As someone who hasn't had a job yet, I can confirm this is what I imagine work to be like

I don't want to be an adult and start being exploited by my boss, my college, my landlord, the service companies and the government

My old job, when someone wanted to clock out, it was this old ass card reader that had a loud "Bing bong" when you swipe your work ID. If someone clocked out early using earned time, all the noise in the building just stops. All tools go silent, all forktrucks stop, and you feel like you better run your ass to your car. Good times.

Funny how I find this in my recommended immediately after not being paid for my PAID vacation days since they didn’t properly walk me through the registration. This caused me to put in paid vacation days but not registering any actual paid hours on those days, despite being told by multiple managers/supervisors that they’d automatically be put in (8 hours per day), when this was, in fact, totally not the case. 🤦

As someone who found a way to juke a mega bank that i work at, i still agree, despite working only 2-3 hrs a day, and the rest 3-4 hrs i just sleep in a massage chair in a tucked away corner of our huge building. I once even managed to get an additional week worth of pay, when i was on a holiday due to some kind of a bug in a burocracy. I tried to figure out how i did it, but sadly, never managed
