Imagine Arthur telling Dutch "I gave you all I had" with tears in his eyes as he's dying... in a pirate outfit.
  • @TheEldritchGoth
this guy is the whole ass Rockstar PR team the way he says we didn't need all this cut content
  • @cijayfish
They could've done this all still, but they left everything for GTA Online.

I remember when people found the safe houses when RDR2 first came out the theory was that it was going to be a feature for online too but it never happened

One thing about rockstar i hate is how they abandon their games after release they did that with gta 5 and rdr2 and im pretty sure gta4 too

21:53 "Saint Denis is more of a creative name" Yeah unless you're french, and you know all too well that Saint Denis is not only a real place but basically french Detroit

I think the biggest letdown was guarma, would’ve been cool, the cut outfit, quest and just the atmosphere is just so fascinating

From the way Arthur speaks about Eliza, it doesn't seem like he was in love with her like he was with Mary. She was a fling who fell pregnant.

This guy just pressed record and read a reddit post. I genuinely believe this video had no script

I always inferred what happened to the Princess was she was sold as a slave from the Fence in Saint Denis. He has a chest with her initials and he is know to sell people.

I feel like the “foreman” cut content could have been Anthony Foreman’s gang and maybe Tilly could have had a story arc there.

35:58 correct me if I’m wrong but Molly actually was lying when she said she talked to Milton bc at the end of the game, Milton reveals that they caught Molly and tried to get info from her but she didn’t budge (this is when it’s revealed that Micah was the real snitch) (this next part is a little unrelated but I find it interesting 💀)so people theorize that Molly was lying to get Dutch’s attention but wasn’t in the right mind to realize that it’d probably would have her killed, or she didn’t care if she lived or died

You can tell there was a lot of stuff removed from the game or just never fully developed bc they wanted to get it out on time. Like with all those things that Arthur sketches in his notebook... the strange trees, the hobbit house, the burned out town. Even the witch's hut. There must have been some story connected to those places. My theory is that there was supposed to have been some more side missions, but they spent so much time developing the world, when it came time to develop the missions etc. it was already too late. It wouldve been great if Rockstar had released some of this cut content as DLC but instead they gave up on this game altogether.

I remember when Rdr2 came out and people were finding all of the alien Easter eggs the big dlc people wanted was either a cowboys vs ailen dlc or undead nightmare 2
  • @ryrysims
It also wouldn’t have made sense for them to have Mexico because John says he has never been to Mexico in the first red dead
  • @Yes-Bean
Maybe sherrif owens was supposed to replace sherrif gray after he dies

If you have the RDR2 strategy guide; you can see several photos of Arthur in New Austin as well as Arthur wearing the Legend of the East outfit. This is likely because Piggyback was working in tandem with R* to write the guide and was given an advanced copy of the game where Arthur did have access to New Austin; or at least everywhere but Blackwater.
